San Diego is the second-largest city in California and San Diego County is home to 3.3 million people. San Diego has a population that is ethnically diverse with 51% of the population being Caucasian, 40% Hispanic/Latino, 12% African-American, and 4% Asian. The San Diego Convention Center is a large convention center located near several hotels on Harbor Drive by San Diego Bay. In fact, it’s not only home to conventions but also holds many public events throughout the year such as concerts or hockey games. It was built back in 1989 but has been expanded since then to become one of America’s largest multi-function facilities with an exhibition hall totaling over 200 000 square feet which can be divided into three separate halls.
